Course Background

EDPT 200 · Integrating Educational Technology in the Classroom

I've been teaching EDPT 200 at McGill for almost 25 years. The course is designed to give new teachers a philosophical and practical introduction to educational technology. It has its own website: sbruzzese.org/edpt200_home.html and the official McGill site at edpt200.mcgill.ca.

EDPE 640 · Emerging Technologies for Educational Change

I created and designed this course for McGill University in 2014. The course wiki at sites.google.com/mcgill.ca/edpe640/home includes course content and student projects. We used the NMC Horizon Reports (K-12 and Higher Education) to frame class discussions, presentations, and reflections.

Previous courses I have designed: Managing Education Resources (EDEM 628), Computers As Mindtools, Introduction to Computers in Education, The Internet for Teachers, and Microworlds (coding).
